This is a picture of 5 O'Clock Charlie. The picture was taken about 1PM.
We named him after the M.A.S. H. episode.
Charlie actually gets in his plane and buzzes around the farm spraying the proper sprays on the berries. He does this, on certain days, all damn day.
He starts at 7am. I know this from staying on the farm last year. Blondie, My Mexican Bodyguard, says Charlie still wakes his ass up some mornings.
5 O'Clock Charlie is one crazy sunnuvabitch.
I took this picture outside my office, in the lot next to one of the trucks, while Charlie was buzzing the building. He did this for about an hour. The truck drivers were freaking because he was buzzing them outside in the lot. He was actually buzzing the building. With all of us inside. It's a regular occurance. Everyone thinks it's a hoot. I do too.
This man flies around the farm and does crazy stuff. I literally have seen this guy fly under power lines. He's insane. He's completely out of his mind.
I love that guy.
