TALES OF THE PINBOARD, VOL. 1: A blast from the past

This artifact is a souvenir concert patch from 1982, the very first time I saw the majestic splendor that is Eric Clapton.  Click to embiggen.

From the old days of WYNF.  Tampa Bay was a rocking place back then.  It is now, too.  They just have bigger venues.

I think this patch is pretty cool.  It adorns upon my pinboard, where it is as good a place as any to start my new blog feature, TALES FROM THE PINBOARD.  Coming soon.  Be there, ahola.

I saw Clapton twice at the Lakeland Civic Center, before the move to those formerly referenced bigger venues.

Very soon, Great Maker willing, I will see Eric Clapton for the 15th time, thanks entirely to my good friend, Grudly Mandinko.

There is nothing I look forward to more.

Together, The Grud and The Leeman, we shall break the barriers of slovenlyness and comedy.

Again.

# 15.

We shall rock.

And it shall be glorious.

Glorious.
